$37mln allocated for Georgian municipalities to address damage from natural disasters

About ₾104.87 million ($37.59mln) has been allocated to Georgian municipalities to address damage caused by natural disasters in a Government decree signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

The Ministry of Finance of Georgia will allocate the funds from the regional project fund established by the 2024 state budget to for the purpose.

The highest amount of ₾9.06 million ($3.24mln) has been allocated to the western municipality of Ozurgeti, while the lowest amount of ₾193,000 ($69,183) is given to Tianeti in the east.
