Georgian Parliament Committee Chair, Japanese Ambassador discuss ties

The existing cooperation between Georgia and Japan was discussed between Nikoloz Samkharadze, the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament and Ishizuka Hideki, the Japanese Ambassador to Georgia on Friday, the Parliament press office said.

Trade and economic relations between the two countries were also highlighted, including Japanese investments in Georgia.

We have close bilateral cooperation and we emphasised the importance of this cooperation at the meeting with the Ambassador. We also discussed the possibilities of further deepening the existing trade and economic relations between the two countries and the matter of promoting investment attraction”, the Chair noted.
