Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday congratulated Keir Starmer on his victory in the United Kingdom general election and expressed his readiness to strengthen the partnership between the two countries.
“Congratulations to Keir Starmer on his victory in the General Elections of Great Britain! We express our heartfelt wishes for continued success in his new role as Prime Minister and stand ready to collaborate with his government to further enhance the fruitful and valuable Georgia-Great Britain partnership”, Kobakhidze said in a social media message.

Keir Starmer is set to be appointed Prime Minister later on Friday.
