Armenian FM to discuss cooperation in Tbilisi visit

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will on Wednesday pay an official visit to Georgia to discuss cooperation with officials in the country.

Mirzoyan is scheduled to meet with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and his Georgian counterpart Ilia Darchiashvili, the Georgian foreign office said on Tuesday.

The meeting between the top diplomats will focus on the agenda of “existing cooperation and the directions of collaboration determined by the joint declaration on establishing a strategic partnership between Georgia and of Armenia”, the body added. 

Within the framework of his visit, Mirzoyan will also lay a wreath at the memorial of heroes who died for the territorial integrity of Georgia.
