Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Wednesday congratulated Narendra Modi on his re-election as India’s Prime Minister.
Modi won a third consecutive term on the position following the weeks-long election, with the results declared on Wednesday.
In his social media post, Kobakhidze noted the ties between the two countries had deepened in recent years, “paving the way for exploring new avenues of cooperation”.
The PM stated he anticipated working together with his Indian counterpart on “issues of mutual interest”.
