Ruling party Chair, Dutch Ambassador highlight Georgia’s EU integration process

Georgia’s European integration process was highlighted on Tuesday in a meeting between Irakli Garibashvili, the Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party and Meline Arakelian, the Dutch Ambassador to Georgia, the party press office said.

The Chair reviewed the steps taken in the direction with the Ambassador. The Discussions also dealt with “main areas” of the two countries' cooperation and the “current political processes” in Georgia.

The Chair of the party thanked the Netherlands for its support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, and for supporting the country in being granted the European Union membership candidate status in December.
