Ruling party Chair, Israeli Ambassador discuss “historical friendship”

The “historical friendship” between Israel and Georgia and future prospects were discussed on Tuesday between Irakli Garibashvili, the Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party and Hadas Meitzad, the Ambassador of Israel to Georgia, the party press office said.

The meeting also discussed the current situation in Georgia, the wider region and throughout the world.

The party Chair reaffirmed his “solidarity” with the diplomat following the October 7 terrorist attack on Israel and its citizens.
