Georgian PM presents newly appointed Intelligence Service Head to body

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday introduced Irakli Beraia as the new Head of the country's Intelligence Service.

Kobakhidze highlighted the official’s “qualifications and experience” while also pledging “full support” to the Service from the Government, the Government Administration said.

Beraia, who previously worked as the Chair of the Parliament's Defence and Security Committee, was confirmed in the position last week.
