The National Wine Agency of Georgia on Friday said 21 companies participated in the 108th China Food and Drinks Fair in the city of Chengdu earlier this month.
As part of the event, Georgian wine producers held meetings with potential importers from China, the body added.
In order to increase awareness and export of Georgian wine, it is very important to be presented at such large-scale events and especially in the country, which is one of the strategic markets for Georgia. China is among the top five exporting countries of Georgian wine”, the Agency said.
Within the exhibition, Master of Wine Cassidy Dart from China presented types of Georgian wine to visitors at a special stand.
