Theodore Theodoridis, the interim General Secretary of UEFA, will watch the Euro 2024 qualifying match between Georgia and Luxembourg at Dinamo Arena stadium in Tbilisi on Thursday along with officials from the governing body of the sport.
Davit Mujiri, the General Secretary of the Georgian Football Federation, told Imedi TV Theodoridis was meeting with officials from the national body during his visit to the city along with UEFA Deputy General Secretary Kevin Lamour and Deputy Director Thierry Favre.
Mujiri said the Federation was looking to see the national team “claim the spot in the final of the playoff stage” in front of the visiting officials in the match.
The kickoff of the semifinal playoff fixture is set for 9pm local time.
