Election Commission Chair, Italian Ambassador discuss preparations for parliamentary elections

Preparations for the Georgian parliamentary elections in October were discussed on Tuesday in a meeting between Giorgi Kalandarishvili, the Chair of the country’s Central Election Commission, and Massimiliano D'Antuono, the Italian Ambassador to Georgia.

Kalandarishvili provided the Ambassador with “detailed information” regarding the ongoing work, the election administration said.

The Georgian official also highlighted the involvement of diplomatic corps and international observer missions in electoral processes.
