Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Saturday said Georgia had always tried “to do its utmost” to ensure peace and stability in the South Caucasus region and affirmed the country’s commitment to the cause.
At the joint press briefing with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Kobakhidze, who is on his first official visit to Baku, noted he had discussed global political processes and the current situation in the South Caucasus region with the President.

Kobakhidze is on his first official visit to Azerbaijan with the Georgian delegation, which includes Levan Davitashvili, the Vice PM and Economy Minister, as well as Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili.
