Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday told the journalists that his Government would commence “specific works” for the construction of the Anaklia deep sea port in the country’s north-west in June.
Kobakhidze noted the company responsible for leading the construction works was expected to be selected by the end of May, adding the tender procedures were set to begin in March.
The PM stressed that this “comprehensive strategy” underscored the Government’s “steadfast commitment” to the Anaklia project.
