Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday met with Anne Toft Sørensen, the Danish Ambassador to the country, to discuss cooperation between the two countries in bilateral and multilateral formats.

The parties highlighted the importance of opening the Embassy of Denmark in Tbilisi for the promotion of further deepening of relations, the Government Administration said.

The meeting also emphasised the significance of cooperation in economy and energy and “positively” assessed resumption of direct flights, which they said would further develop people-to-people ties and bilateral cooperation in tourism, the Administration added.
