Georgian boxers claimed 15 medals, including nine gold, at the Dan Pozniak International Youth Boxing Tournament in Lithuania’s capital Vilnius.
Hosted between Thursday and Saturday, the competition saw athletes from the country claim top results in the 51, 54, 57, 63.5, 67, 71, 75, 80 and 92 kg categories.

Davit Japaridze, Gor Aivazyan, Levan Demurov, Gocha Gordulava, Demur Kajaia, Shota Jikia, Giorgi Natroshvili, Samvel Karapetyan and Tariel Sharikadze earned the medals in the respective categories.

Luka Beshliogli (51 kg), Saba Eremeishvili (60 kg) and Avtandil Mdinaridze (92 kg) claimed the silver medals from the competition, while Lasha Kereselidze (-48 kg), Murad Tagiev (52 kg) and Giorgi Naroushvili (65 kg) left the tournament with bronze medals.
The haul of 15 medals also meant Georgia finished first in team results of the youth tournament.
