The Georgian State Security Service on Saturday said its Counterterrorism Centre had arrested two foreign citizens for the preparation of illegal transfer of a migrant across the state border of Georgia.
Professionals of the Service seized military equipment, electronic devices, forged documents, explosive substances and devices, as well as flags of Islamic State terrorist organisation and other evidence as part of the operation, the body said.
The Service carried out special operative investigative measures simultaneously at two locations in Georgia’s capital city of Tbilisi.
