Highland regions of Georgia will welcome visitors with a range of activities introducing local cuisine, dance, folklore and more as part of Highlander Week celebrations for the second time this year, with the programme launching on Saturday.
In its release on the event, the Government Administration said northern regions and municipalities of Tusheti, Svaneti and Kazbegi, as well as the western Racha and Imereti regions, would host the events.
Visitors will have the opportunity to engage in various activities, including knitting and craft classes, introduction to the history of khinkali dumplings, an exhibition and sale of local entrepreneurs, and an ethnographic corner.
Celebrated chefs will prepare a variety of meals and lead master courses throughout the day, while popular artists will offer performances to visitors.
