Charlie Flanagan, the Chair of the Irish Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence, on Tuesday said the future of Georgia lay “firmly” in the “European Union family”.
The comment came following Flanagan’s meeting with his Georgian counterparts on their visit to Ireland.

The official of the Irish Parliament also acknowledged Georgia’s “wide-ranging” reform programme for ensuring European integration was “well underway”.
