The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili expressed his condolences over the death of the first female United States Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, and extended his condolences to her family and friends on Wednesday.
Madeleine Albright was "one of the most distinguished diplomats" in the world and an "undisputed champion of democracy," Garibashvili said.

Albright, the first female US secretary of state who helped steer Western foreign policy in the aftermath of the Cold War, died on Wednesday from cancer at age 84.
