The sixth international conference Glory to Ukraine, featuring top-level leaders from Europe and the United States, opened on Monday in Tbilisi to discuss the new political and security reality created as a result of the war in the country, the threats facing modern democracy and the future of European security.
Hosted by the McCain Institute for International Leadership, the George W. Bush Institute, and the Centre for Economic Policy Research, the event will host panel discussions for the topics on the agenda, the organisers of the conference said.
Participants will review Russia's attack on Ukraine and the reaction of the West, geopolitical consequences of military aggression and impact of the war on the future of Europe.
Other topics include Georgia’s political direction, Russia's next steps, information wars, “democracy versus authoritarianism” and threats of authoritarianism, kleptocracy and corruption in politics.
The conference will run through Tuesday.
