Georgian and foreign servicemembers completed a joint course for mountain training in the country's west on Sunday, the Defence Ministry has announced.
The three-week course at western Georgia’s Sachkhere Mountain Training School involved troops from the United States, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Armenia alongside their Georgian counterparts.
The participants trained in regulations and use of mountain equipment, as well as collective survival and evacuation skills.
