5-star Kutaisi Inn opens in western Georgia

Inn Group, the owner of four hotels and two companies in Georgia, is expanding in the country with a five-star hotel in the western Georgian hub city of Kutaisi on Monday, Enterprise Georgia state programme announced on Monday.

The hotel will feature 100 rooms and employ 85 people in the city, and has been launched with the support of Enterprise Georgia.

Deputy Head of the agency Irakli Gabriadze said over ₾15 million (about $5mln/€4.91mln) had been invested in the hotel, with the state co-financing the interest rate of the loan over the next three years. 

Inn Group said the company was also planning to open a 120-room hotel in the central Georgian city of Gori in autumn.

Founded in 2015 with the opening of the Iveria Inn hotel in Tbilisi, Inn Group later unveiled a 92-room Gudauri Inn in the popular ski resort of Gudauri, followed by the 21-room Royal Inn in the capital, and the 152-room Bakuriani Inn in Bakuriani, another popular winter destination in the country.
