App generating cryptocurrency by walking, jogging most popular in Georgia

STEPN, a Web3 lifestyle app used to earn cryptocurrency by walking, jogging or running activities through NFT Sneakers, is most popular in Georgia among worldwide users, business media outlet bm.ge reported on Thursday. 

Based on data from Google Trends, the non-fungible token sneakers used for the app have the highest share in Georgia compared to other countries, with the interest in the country being rated at 100 points. 

Georgia is followed by China with 38 points, Hong Kong and Japan with 26 points and Kazakhstan with 25 points. 

Users purchase NFT sneakers before receiving tokens and earning cryptocurrency by walking,  jogging or running, with the generated cryptocurrency also able to be exchanged for other currencies.
