Georgia has reported 237 new Covid-19 cases, 648 recoveries, and two deaths in the past 24 hours. The positivity rate for the last 14 days stands at 1.63 percent.
Overall 2,821 remain infected with coronavirus in Georgia.
A total of 22,932 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 21,047 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 1,885 were PCR tests.
1,652,472 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia since February 26, 2020.
A total of 1,632,842 of 1,652,472 patients have recovered, while 16,783 have died from the virus.
The new Omicron variant of coronavirus accounts for the majority of confirmed Covid-19 cases.

A total of 359 are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. Currently, 83 people are undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit.
2,462 people are undergoing treatment at home.
Overall, 1,363,567 individuals have received at least one dose of any vaccine in the country so far, while 1,260,045 people have been fully vaccinated amounting to 43.8 percent of the country’s adult population and 246,236 have received booster shots of the vaccine.
