EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar has arrived in Tbilisi.
During his Georgian trip Klaar will also travel to the Russian-occupied region of Abkhazia.

Klaar told Imedi TV that he will be discussing the situation in the occupied regions, the relations among Tbilisi, Sokhumi, Tskhinvali and Moscow as well as the conflict resolution mechanisms.
In Tbilisi he is scheduled to meet with Georgian leaders, including Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani.
The EU appointed Toivo Klaar its Special Representative for the South Caucasus back in 2017, who is also one of the co-chairs of the Geneva International Discusisons.
