One detained for premeditated homicide in Poti

Georgian police have detained an individual for premeditated homicide in the western Georgian town of Poti earlier today. 

The individual, identified only as Sh.P. and born in 1986, stabbed to death an individual, identified as G.A. and born in 1978, and tried to escape.

The Interior Ministry has released a video footage of the detention:

However, he was detained shortly after the assault. 

The crime is punishable by seven to 15 years in prison.
