Georgian public service halls and community centres in various regions of Georgia have started issuing Covid cards for Georgian citizens, the Georgian government administration announces.

Covid cards will contain the following information:

  • vaccination status
  • recent PCR test results
  • QR code of vaccination
  • personal data

Georgian citizens will be able to get a Covid card in all public service halls and community centres nationwide.

The application submission for the card is free of charge and only identification (ID) cards are required.

The Covid card can be verified by an apostille in public service halls and community centres if an individual needs it for presenting abroad.

Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze and Minister of Justice Rati Bregadze observed the process of issuing Covid cards earlier today in the public service hall of Tbilisi.

The ministers used the recently introduced service themselves and received the cards.

Vaccination against Covid-19 in Georgia is available with the Pfizer, Sinopharm, Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines.

A total of 586,608 people have been vaccinated only once in Georgia, while 245,207 individuals are fully vaccinated.
