Serbia recognizes Georgian Covid-19 vaccination certificate

Following the request of the Georgian government Serbia has recognised Covid-19 full vaccination certificate issued in Georgia, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reports.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia notes that starting July 24 Georgian citizens are allowed to visit Serbia upon presenting the vaccination certificate.
Vaccinated individuals can receive a certification of their status for the purpose of travelling abroad at the medical institution where they received their jab.
The Covid-19 vaccine certificate includes personal data of the vaccinated individual, vaccine details, name of the medical institution which administered the vaccine, and information on the results of Covid-19 testing and the research laboratory (if any).
40,553 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 23,242 of the 40,553 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 17,311 were PCR tests. The country has had 410,830 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 6.28 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.377,597 of the 410,830 patients have recovered, while 5,751 have died from the virus.
Georgia has reported two cases of Delta plus variant of coronavirus earlier today, while 40-50 per cent of the 3,666 patients who tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours had contracted the Delta variant, Georgian health officials stated earlier today.
500,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine donated by the United States have arrived in Georgia. Registration for the vaccine starts at 12 p.m. today via the booking.moh.gov.ge website. Meanwhile, Georgia has also received 15,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine donated by Lithuania.
Foreigners living in Georgia will be able to receive Covid-19 vaccines, the Georgian Ministry of Labour and Health announced earlier today.
European Union now recognises COVID-19 vaccination certificates issued by Georgia. The EU is now also accepting COVID certificates from two other non-EU countries – Moldova and Serbia. A total of 49 countries’ COVID-19 vaccination certificates are now recognised by the EU, of which 22 are non-EU countries.
Switzerland has recognised Covid-19 vaccination certificates issued by Georgia. The Swiss Federal Office of Public Health has updated a list of countries whose Covid-19 certificates are recognised by Switzerland, and Georgia is included.
