School teachers who start teaching in person on February 1 will be tested for coronavirus by PCR before studies resume.
The working process is underway to determine who should be tested in schools, when and how often. Schools will be notified in the near future. Therefore, they will be able to organize this process,” says the Ministry of Education.
The plan includes all schools in the country except ones in big cities including Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Rustavi.
Schools in Batumi, Zugdidi, Gori, Poti and Telavi will continue studies in person starting February 1.
Teachers will be tested for coronavirus regularly.
