Georgia is saddened by the recent flooding in western Europe causing the death of over 150 people.
Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has tweeted:
Deeply saddened to see the tragic loss of lives and suffering caused by the catastrophic floods in Western Europe. As #Belgium declares July 20th a national day of mourning????????sends its sincerest condolences to the families of the victims & wishes a quick recovery to those injured.

Rescue workers searched flood-ravaged parts of Germany and Belgium for survivors on Saturday after burst rivers and flash floods this week collapsed houses and claimed at least 157 lives, Reuters reports.

Emergency services in the Netherlands also remained on high alert as overflowing rivers threatened towns and villages throughout the southern province of Limburg.
