Top Georgian officials have congratulated the US on its 245th Independence Day today.
Wishing the US a Happy Independence Day, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said 'the exceptional friendship and partnership between Georgia and the US bear witness to our shared values'.
Georgia, in its democratic development and progress, enjoys extraordinary support from the US. I would like to thank our American friends for this support and the exemplary relations we have been building for years", PM Garibashvili said.
He has also tweeted:

The US Embassy in Georgia has meanwhile wrote on Facebook that 'five years from now - July 4, 2026 - will be the 250th anniversary of the United States’ independence'.
Today, we begin the celebration with our partners at the America250 Foundation and invite all Americans, as well as our friends abroad, to help honour our past and shape our future.
