Georgian police have detained a Russian citizen wanted under a red notice by Interpol.
The Russian citizen, identified only as A.L., is accused of human trafficking, financial extortion, and engaging a minor in prostitution.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reports that the Russian citizen has been residing in Georgia since January 2020.
The Russian federation announced A.L. as wanted on the national level in August 2020.
The General Secretariat of Interpol declared an international search for the Russian citizen under the red notice in November 2020.
Czech police are searching for a 27-year-old Georgian citizen Bachuki Jalaghonia, who is suspected of a brutal attack on a 29-year-old man in the center of Prague and seriously injuring him.
Georgian police have detained a Ukrainian citizen wanted by Luxemburg via Interpol for car theft. The individual, identified only as D.K., born in 1972, is accused of having stolen 17 expensive cars in Luxembourg along with accomplices back in September-December, 2019.
The Georgian Interior Ministry has detained an Azerbaijani citizen who has been wanted by Interpol since 2015 for murder. The individual, born in 1989 and identified only as T.G, was detained in Akhalkalaki, a town in Georgia's southern region of Samtskhe–Javakheti.
