Vakhtang Makharoblishvili appointed Georgia’s Representative to the EU

Vakhtang Makharoblishvili has been appointed Georgia’s Representative to the European Union and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

From 2016 to 2019 Makharoblishvili was the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

In July 2019 Vakhtang Makharoblishvili was appointed First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. 

He led the formats of political dialogue with the EU, including the Association Committee, High Level Strategic Security Dialogue and the EU Human Rights Dialogue.
