Glovo suspends access to app to about 50 couriers on strike

Changes regarding bonuses and payroll systems at food delivery app Glovo have caused dissatisfaction among about 50 couriers of the company, who are protesting these changes at a rally.

Glovo Georgia said 'these couriers were aggressively attacking other couriers.’

In addition, the couriers took orders from restaurants and did not fulfill them, which is considered abuse of the use of the app. 

Glovo apologises to customers and partner restaurants for the situation, reimburses the damages in full, and couriers who physically attacked or verbally assaulted others will be temporarily suspended from accessing the app", said Glovo.

Glovo couriers have been holding demonstrations since yesterday, demanding the old scheme of bonuses and payroll systems be left in force.
