Georgia reports 988 new Covid-19 cases, 1,595 recoveries, 21 deaths

Georgia has reported 988 new cases of coronavirus after conducting a total of 13,752 tests over the last 24 hours.

Out of the 988 new cases 511 were reported in Tbilisi.

Other cases were reported in:

Adjara - 114
Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 94
Imerei - 84
Kakheti - 45
Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 45
Shida Kartli - 33
Kvemo Kartli - 31
Guria - 19
Samtskhe-Javakheti - 8
Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 4

Meanwhile, 1,595 individuals have recovered from the coronavirus and 21 infected individuals have died.

As of now the number of total confirmed cases of Covid-19 stands at 312,445, including 293,052 recoveries and 4,151 deaths.

15,216 people are currently infected with the virus in Georgia.

Georgia has reported 1,147 new cases of Covid-19 after conducting a total of 20,129 tests over the last 24 hours. Out of the new cases 653 were reported in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.

Georgia reports 509 new cases of coronavirus of 7,476 tests

Georgia has reported 509 new cases of coronavirus, 1,200 recoveries and 12 deaths in the past 24 hours. 7,476 tests have been conducted around the country on the weekend. 3,111 of the 7,476 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 4,365 were PCR tests. The country has had 312,954 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. five per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
