The opening of Georgian ski resorts for the upcoming winter season depends on the climatic conditions and the epidemiological situation, announces the Mountain Resorts Development Company.

The Mountain Resorts Development Company said that the construction of three new ski lifts has been completed in Bakuriani. Each ski lift has six seats and the total capacity of all three ski lifts is 5,400 passengers per hour at the first stage, which can be increased to a total of 7,200 passengers.

In addition, the artificial snow making reservoir is being actively filled with water. The capacity of the artificial reservoir is 96,000 tonnes.
