Georgia reports 3,473 new cases of coronavirus, 2,342 recoveries, 37 deaths

Georgia has reported 3,473 new cases of coronavirus, 2,342 recoveries and 37 deaths in the past 24 hours.

16,981 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today. 

• Curfew goes into effect

The new 3,473 cases were recorded in: 

• Tbilisi - 1,493 cases 
• Adjara - 448 cases 
• Imereti - 513 cases 
• Kvemo Kartli - 190 cases 
• Shida Kartli - 175 cases 
• Guria - 55 cases 
• Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 287 cases 
• Kakheti - 98 cases 
• Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 119 cases 
• Samtskhe-Javakheti - 72 cases 
• Racha-Lechkhumi, Kvemo Svaneti - 23 cases

Georgia has had 73,154 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.

Since then 55,511 individuals have recovered, while 636 others have died. 

4,957 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 633 of the 4,957 patients are in critical condition. 357 of the 633 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.

3,413 Covid-19 patients are in hotels, 2,447 individuals are in quarantine and 8,611 are at home.

44,958 individuals are in self-isolation.

More than one million individuals have been tested for coronavirus in Georgia so far.
