Georgian law enforcers detained a Canadian citizen wanted by US law enforcement on September 22 at Tbilisi International Airport.

The Southern District of California thanked Georgian law enforcers for their help.

The individual was accused of fraud with an accomplice. Their company used low quality materials in the construction of several US-owned buildings in Africa which later collapsed.

Tbilisi City Court used extradition detention as a measure of restraint against the man and his extradition to the United States is currently being considered.
