Ruling party leading in Rustavi 2 commissioned election polls

The ruling Georgian Dream party candidates in six majoritarian constituencies including Tbilisi are  leading in Rustavi 2 commissioned polls.

The poll carried out by British company Survation between September 12 and September 19 says that the ruling party would receive above 50% of votes if elections were held today.

The poll is based on 1,828 interviews conducted in the constituencies of Saburtalo, Isani, Bolnisi-Dmanisi-Tetritskaro-Tsalka, Telavi-Akhmeta-Kvareli-Lagodekhi, Kaspi-Gori and Khelvachauri-Keda-Shuakhevi-Khulo.

Saburtalo majoritarian constituency:

• Davit Sergeenko, Georgian Dream – 57.6%
• Aleksandre Elisashvili, Citizens – 13.3%
• Badri Japaridze, Lelo for Georgia – 9.1%
• Irakli Okruashvili, Victorious Georgia – 6.8%
• Tako Charkviani, Law and Justice – 4.8%
• Kakha Dzagania, Alliance of Patriots – 3.7%
• Levan Gogichaishvili, Our Georgia-Solidarity Alliance – 3.3%

Isani majoritarian constituency:

• Kakha Kakhishvili, Georgian Dream – 53.9%
• Khatia Dekanoidze, United National Movement – 21%
• Giorgi Vashadze, Strategy Aghmashenebeli – 15.1%
• Davit Tchitchinadze, Tribune – 5.5%
• Lana Galdava, Lelo for Georgia – 2.3%

Bolnisi-Dmanisi-Tetritskaro-Tsalka majoritarian constituency:

• Gogi Meshveliani, Georgian Dream – 50.7%
• Kakha Okriashvili, United National Movement – 44.1%
• Giorgi Tchelidze, Lelo for Georgia – 4.3%

Telavi-Akhmeta-Kvareli-Lagodekhi majoritarian constituency:

• Irakli Kadagishvili, Georgian Dream – 52.1%
• Giorgi Botkoveli, United National Movement – 38%
• Zurab Tchiaberashvili, European Georgia – 7.7%
• Soso Partsikanashvili – Alliance of Patriots – 1%

Kaspi-Gori majoritarian constituency:

• Giorgi Khojevanishvili, Georgian Dream – 66.9%
• Badri Basishvili, United National Movement – 15.7%
• Levan Tarkhnishvili, European Georgia – 7.4%
• Papuna Koberidze, Lelo for Georgia – 5.6%
• Koba Mazanashvili, Alliance of Patriots – 3.8%

Khelvachauri-Keda-Shuakhevi-Khulo majoritarian constituency:

• Anzor Bolkvadze, Georgian Dream – 65.1%
• Mikheil Bolkvadze, United National Movement – 21.9%
• Jambul Khozrevanidze, Lelo for Georgia – 5.3%
• Tariel Nakaidze, European Georgia – 3.3%
• Zorbeg Beridze, Alliance of Patriots – 1.2%

Less than a week ago Rustavi 2 published results of another poll conducted in the constituencies of Vake, Gldani, Rustavi, Poti-Khobi-Senaki, Mtskheta-Dusheti-Kazbegi-Tianeti and Sachkhere-Tchiatura-Kharagauli.

Overall, the British company will interview a total of 9,000 people throughout the country in all of the election constituencies. Rustavi 2 will be publishing the relevant data gradually during the next two weeks.
