Nanny detained for use of violence against child in Tbilisi

Georgian police detained a nanny for the use of violence against a child in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi yesterday.

The individual, identified only as L. L. and born in 1973, worked together with two other nannies, identified only as Sh. D and I. B. at a family with five children.

The Interior Ministry released a video footage showing the detention:

The Georgian Interior Ministry reported that Sh. D and I. B. provided video footage showing L. L. physically assaulting a two-year-old child.

The crime is punishable by two years in prison.
