Inebriated man firing randomly from his flat in Tbilisi surrenders to police

An allegedly inebriated man, who was firing randomly from his flat in Varketili district of Tbilisi earlier today, surrendered to police after five hours of negotiations. 

Nobody was injured in the incident. 

After the negotiations the man left his flat and surrendered. Now he is with doctors,” Patrol Police head Vazha Siradze stated. 

Family members of the man were evacuated shortly after the first shot was heard. 

The residential building has been surrounded by police since the morning.
