The Permanent Representation of Lithuania to the OSCE has condemned the illegal ‘borderisation’ activities of Russia and its proxies in Georgia.

Noting that Tskhinvali and Abkhazia regions are 'integral parts' of Georgia, the Lithianian mission said such activities 'are nothing but provocations'.

It also added that many delegations have underlined 'deteriorating security situation' in the region of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, where ‘Russia instigated conflicts’ in Georgia and Ukraine.

Yesterday, other missions to the OSCE. including the United States and the United Kingdom, have also expressed concern about Russia's continuing ‘borderisation’ activities in Georgia.
