Two more people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Georgia increasing the total number of cases to 159.
Earlier today the country reported its first case of mortality; 31 individuals have recovered, 125 others remain infected, while two foreigners returned to their respective country when they tested positive for COVID-19 in March.

5,526 people are under quarantine, while 344 individuals remain under the medical observation in different hospitals in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi and regions.

Head of the Georgian National Centre for Disease Control Amiran Gamkrelidze has again called on everyone today to stay home and keep social distancing to avoid further spread of COVID-19.
