14-year old raises €40,000 abroad to help a house for people with disabilities in a Georgian village

14-year old Giorgi Vancko, who has Georgian mother and American father, living in the Netherlands has organised events abroad and raised €40,000 for a house for people with disabilities in the Georgian village of Brotsliani, Kakheti region of Georgia.

Giorgi was 12-years-old when he learnt about the house from his mother and decided to help.

With the money raised water has been provided and the roof of the house for the people with disabilities was changed, which allowed it to receive additional 25 people.

Giorgi has founded a charity foundation Help the Republic of Georgia and has many plans, famous Georgian photographer Goga Chanadiri wrote.

Chanadiri also said that Giorgi organised a concert in his school in the Netherlands to raise a portion of the money.

Giorgi has a brother, Laven Vancko, 12, who is also engaged in charity, assisting the Tsnori elderly house in Georgia.

Mother of Giorgi and Levan Tika Svanidze-Vancko runs the foundation Georgian Culture in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
