The foreign ministries of Georgia and Bosnia and Herzegovina have signed a memorandum of cooperation recognising the sovereignty and territorial integrity of their countries within their internationally recognized borders.
Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze and his counterpart, the Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak, signed the memorandum yesterday.

Signing the memorandum, Janelidze and Crnadak praised the friendship and partnership between Georgia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and expressed their readiness to support the further development of cooperation in trade, tourism, agriculture and service provision.
The two ministers welcomed visa-free travel opportunities between Georgia and Bosnia and Herzegovina as yet another step forward in deepening bilateral cooperation between the countries.
From October 2017, Georgian citizens holding biometric passports have been able to travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina without a visa for 90 days.

Minister Janelidze is paying his first official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina from March 5-6. He has further scheduled a visit to Serbia where he will also meet with Serbian officials, including President Aleksandar VuÄiÄ, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic and other ministers.
During the visit to Serbia an agreement will be signed between the two governments cancelling visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports.
