Georgia’s national water polo team has defeated Israel in the first game of the final round of the qualifying stage of the European Water Polo Championships yesterday.
The Georgian team handed a defeat to Israel 12 to 1 in Tbilisi.
The championship's official Twitter page announced that the follow-up game will be held in Israel on March 3.

The eight best teams from the latest European Championships, held in Belgrade in 2016, have sealed their pass to Barcelona 2018: Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Montenegro, Greece, Russia, Italy and Spain.
The eight more winners of current play-offs will seal their pass to Barcelona.
The Georgian national water polo team was among the 16 strongest teams of the continent who competed at the European Water Polo Championships in 2016.
