Ten people have been injured during the dismantling of a garage in the eastern Georgian town of Rustavi, supposedly due to the explosion of an oxygen container, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reports.
“Five of the injured are minors. The investigation is ongoing to establish the reasons behind the incident,” the ministry said.
For now six patients are being treated at Rustavi hospital, while two have been transported to Tbilisi.
Doctor Levan Psuturi from the Rustavi hospital told the media that a girl aged 9 and a boy aged 14 have been transported to Tbilisi.
“The health condition of the girl is particularly grave with an open wound in her abdomen,” Psuturi said.
