A unique classic car rally, Peaks of the Caucasus, has taken start from Freedom Square, Tbilisi.
Approximately 60 representatives from nine different countries are visiting Georgia to attend the event. The participants are going to travel around the country till October 14.
The initiator of the rally is Bart Klein.
Most of the vehicles involved in the competition were released before World War II. The oldest car is the model Vauxhall 30/98 (1922) and the newest one – Jaguar Mark V Drophead (1951).

2 October - Tbilisi - Vardzia (230 kilometres)
3 October - Vardzia - Borjomi (110 km)
4 October - Borjomi - Tskaltubo (200 km)
5 October - Tskaltubo - Tskaltubo (195 km)
6 October - Tskaltubo - Mestia (210 km)
7 October - Mestia - Ushguli - Mestia (100 km)
8 October - Mestia - Tskaltubo (230 km)
9 October - Tskaltubo - Tbilisi (260 km)
11 October - Tbilisi - Signagi (170 km)
12 October - Signagi - Lopota (165 km)
13 October - Lopota - Kazbegi (230 km)
14 October - Kazbegi - Tbilisi (135 km)
