The Counter Intelligence Service of Georgia’s State Security Service has detained a Russian citizen Dimitry B., as he spilled poisonous liquid at Tbilisi International Airport on July 2.
The State Security Service says that the man spilled the poisonous liquid at the cashier desk of one of the air companies located at the airport.
The information concerning the incident was initially spread by Georgian media outlet Droni.ge on the same day, which said that several people had been taken to hospital with symptoms of poisoning.
The State Security Service confirmed the fact and the detention today. However, the body said nothing about the people affected.
The State Security Service says that an investigation into the case is in progress.
