‘June-Month of Italy’ kicks off in Georgia

"June-Month of Italy” is starting in Georgia to increase the awareness of "Made in Italy” products in Georgia, the Embassy of Italy in Tbilisi has announced.
The initiative "June-Month of Italy” involves local sellers and importers from a wide range of sectors: furniture and decor, fashion, perfumes and cosmetics, optics and accessories, jewelry, food and drinks and much more.
By joining the campaign, the companies dealing with Italian products are offering their customers a variety of promotions and discounts, announced the embassy.
The "June-Month of Italy” initiative is a joint project promoted by the Embassy of Italy in Tbilisi and the Italian Trade Agency.
Also, the embassy announced that local airline company Georgian Airways has launched direct flights from Georgia’s capital of Tbilisi to Bologna, Italy.
As the embassy says this is the only direct flight between Tbilisi and Bologna so far.
President of Italy Sergio Mattarella, who started his first official visit to georgia yesterday, assessed Georgia as a ‘trustful and faithful’ partner of his country while speaking at a joint briefing with Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili last night."
